    LG 60 SJ8000

    LG UBK90 BRP

Hi. I am having an issue when turning on the UHD Deep color for certain inputs.

On Input one with my BRP I get no input signal or sometimes it flickers on and off.

On Input two with my cable box I get picture but no sound.

Both TV and BRP support dolby vision

HDMI Cables are within 2 years so I assume they are 2.0.
4K works fine, HDR works fine but when I turn the deep color on everything gets wacky.

    Any Ideas?

Cables don't assume anything, check or replace.

Cable TV box is it 4K capable? If not turn off high colour on the relavent port.

For people not doing so already, it's highly recommended that you use nothing but Premium certified HDMI leads between any device that supports HDR.

All genuine 'Premium Certified' products will display a hologram on their advertising and on their packaging to prevent counterfeiting: -

For more information why your HDMI leads need to be 'Premium' certified look here: HDMI :: Premium HDMI Cable Certification Program :: FAQs

Plus, genuine Premium certified leads (with hologram) are not expensive! See below for some examples: -

Sufficed to say, when passing high bandwidth signals at up-to 18Gbps (with features such as: 4K UHD at up-to 60Hz with BT.2020 colour space and HDR-10/HLG), it's most important that any intermediate HDMI switch-gear in your connection chain also supports such bandwidths and features.

    Cheers
