Help Connection Surround Sound with PS3 with HDMI

I have a Samsung HT-TX72 Surround Sound, a Samsung LCD TV with 2 HDMI ports, a Cable Box and a PS3.

I currently have an HDMI going from the cable box to the TV, and a optical going from the cable box to the receiver. I'm having problems figuring out a way to get my PS3 to work with my surround sound. I tried plugging the HDMI from the ps3 to the HDMI in on the surround sound, then HDMI out to the TV, however it didn't look the way it should. Does anybody have any ideas to get this to work?

optical is the only way you will get the ps3 to work with that system for 5.1
so hdmi from ps3 to tv, and optical from ps3 to the surround.
you will more than likely have to buy an optical switch, to allow the cable box, and ps3 to share the same port, if it has only 1.
