Help Connecting Up Home Cinema

Active Member
Hi Guys,

I need some help with connecting up a Home Cinema. Lots of source gear and two display devices. I am also looking to provide whole house audio/video at a later date.

Source Equipment
DVD - Output 1xDVI, 2xComponent, 2xS-Video, RGB Scart
DVD Changer - Output Component, S-Video
DVDR - Output Component
Laser Disc - Output S-Video
Sky+ - Output RGB Scart, S-Video
Xbox - Output Component, S-Video
PS2 - Output Component, S-Video
VCR SVHS - Output S-Video
VCR DVHS - Output Component
HD SAT - Output Component

Amp - Denon AVC-A1SR
Plasma - Pioneer 504 - Input 1xHDMI, Component
Projector - Sim2 HT 300 Link 1xHDMI, 2xComponent
Automation - Crestron Pro2

I was thinking along the lines of adding a Crestron Video Switcher and also looking at the DVDO IScan HD.

Any help, very welcome.

This is a job for a custom install pro to help you with, best take a look for local cedia members and see what they suggest.

The Powerplant in Hove should be local and very able to help you out.

Thanks for the responses. Personally not had a good experience with Powerplant, but that was a long time ago.

Any comments on getting the best from a DVD A11 with DVI to a plasma and Projector that have HDMI?
The only solution I have been able to find is an Extron DVI distribution box. One DVI In and Four DVI out, and then use DVI to HDMI cables.

Thanks for the reply. I already have an automation system in the form of Crestron.
