Help connecting Sony 5.1 to TV with no arc or optical jacks

Hello, complete novice. My son received a Sony 5.1 HT-S20R home theatre speaker system. It is for his bedroom where he watches Netflix on tv and plays Xbox. His TV only has 1 HDMI jack (not ARC and currently connected to Xbox) and it has no optical jack. It has a headphone socket though. Please can someone help with how I can connect the speaker system for him. The rear of the subwoofer has 3 connections which are: analogue in; HDMI out; TV in.

Looking at the start up guide part 3, Connecting to a TV.
* If your TV does not support the ARC (Audio Return Channel) function, connect an optical digital cable (supplied) or a stereo mini cable (not supplied) to listen to the TV sound

The diagram on the far right connect using the analogue connection which will be the headphone socket on the TV to the jack socket on the subwoofer, using a mini stereo cable like this one.

What is the model number of the TV?

Have you set up the Netflix App on the Xbox?

If your son does not use the TV tuner(s) you can connect the Xbox to the HT system via HDMI then pass the Video from the HT system to the TV via HDMI.
