    Hi guy's,
Hope you can help with a couple of queries i have? ;)
I want to connect my Pioneer DV575A to my Hitachi 42PD6600 directly via Component.
I have purchased some very high quality cables from the powerbuy section in the cables forum,(Mark gibson) and would like some detailed advice on getting the best performance from my kit.
Also i am connecting my Kenwood Amp (DTS)to the DVD via optical cable,is this the best option?
What settings do i need to know about on the Pioneer for optimum performance?
Any help will be greatly accepted!
    Cheers,
    Q.

It's best to try the settings out on the 575 yourself because it depends on the display device what looks best. In my case I found that setting the detail to "fine' and turning the BNR 'on' improved the picture significantly.

Your cabling sounds fine. Some people only use optical links for longer distances, preferring to use phono/coax for short distances, but there's nothing in it AFAIK...PJ :)
