HI, I just bought an official PS2 Component cable from a local store. First, I setup the BIOS to component (first using RGB cable), then I switch to component cable, then plug the lead to the TV according to its colors...then i just heard the sound..Blank screen. HELP what must I do?
My TV is set to Auto my PS2 is SCPH30002R (australian type) with Messiah Chip inside..any help from the pro???

    thanks a lot!!

You made sure you got the R/G/B in the right sockets? Usually it wont work at all if you have some of them in the wrong one!

    Double check everything ;)

I bought an "own brand" PS2 component cable from "Game" today for £9.99 and plugged the console into my Sammy for the first time (with fingers crossed.)

    Picture perfect.

    I was relieved
