I have just got projector and have to move everything about, can I use a good phono to phono cable instead of shelling out again for a longer coaxial cable?

Is an RGB cable ok for Component

Is S-Video much worse than component?

    many thanx

Yes, any video lead (75 Ohm impedance) will do.

Generally not, it's only slightly worse (if noticable at all); but certainly not as big as the difference from S-Video to composite.
