HI Guys

I'm having a dilemma, I have the following setup

Onkyo TX-SR803 HT Rec (being used as a pre amp/processor for the fronts)
( Onkyo Europe - TX-SR803E )

Classe' C-2200 power amp
( Classé- Product Specifications )

B&W 804S Fronts
( View the 804S at Bowers & Wilkins - The World's leading Hi Fi Brand )

The tweeter on the left 804 has blown 3 X!

This can't just be a coincidence? What might be causing this?

I have to admit that I like my music loud but...3 X on the left?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks

When you say blown, have you actually had to replace the tweeter 3 times or has it just tripped out.

I assume you are using the Classe to power the front L & R speakers. The Classe is rated 200w 8 Ohm or 400w 4 Ohm.Does the Classe have to be switched depending on the Ohm rating of the speakers as I wonder if you are not overdriving the 804's.
