My mainboard in an Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 and specifications for memory dual channel DDR2 800/667/533 un-buffered non ECC ram.

I currently have 2GB installed in my PC but want to increase this in preparation for Windows 7 64 bit. I'm not sure what type of memory is currently installed but it wouldn't bother me not using that and purchasing 4 x 2GB.

Using CPU-Z it tells me my memory is DDR2 Dual 400Mhz

I've been looking at Scan.co.uk and their options are:

DDR2 - PC5300/5400 (667Mhz)
DDR2 - PC6400 (800Mhz)
DDR2 - PC8500+ (1066Mhz)
DDR2 - SODIMM - PC2 - 4200 - PC2 -6400

Which would you recommend for the mainboard I'm using?

DDR2 - PC6400 (800Mhz)

This is the highest your mobo supports..

Smart thing would be to change all your ram, try for an 8 gig kit as it will be matched ram.. That's why they provide Ram Kits..
Just means you have matched pairs, meaning less chance of faults errors etc..
