Does anyone know where I can find a comparison of all the popular bass shaker / transducer / whatever else they call them. haha I am interested in going with this type of product but don't know what brand or style to go with. I have seen the following:

ButtKicker "LFE" (also, I do have the Berkline 099 theater chairs)

    Aura bass-shakers

    Clark tacticle transducers

    Crowson Tacticle transducers

Any info would be appreciated and if there are any that I have missed and should concider please let me know.

And lastly, the mounting style/position. on the seats themselves or in the floor trusses?

I use a pair of Buttkickers under my deck, in our backyard theater. They are easy to mount under a floor (in most cases). I'm not able to compare them with any other shakers, but these are awesome. It's like sitting in the cone of a 40' subwoofer -- even at only 15% power.

Here's my installation example with a couple photos:

They are very easy to secure to the floor joists with a board.
