My current tv is a 4:3 19" tiny yoke and I'm looking to buy a nice big one, BUT, im unsure what type to get. I've had a look around and there's a good deal on the Sony KV-32CS70 at the moment - €900 incl stand and a dvd player, but what I'm wondering is, is it worth paying more for a smaller sized LCD/Plasma, or should i just shell out now for a bigger LCD/Plasma and avoid CRTs alltogether?

I took down two model numbers I seen on display here, but I cant seem to find mention of them online, perhaps you know of them? The first is a 42" Samsung Plasma, S42v4-SAMS, at €2200, and the second is a Philips 42" Plasma, model 42946, for €2636.

The inputs to the TV will be consoles, dvd, and analog TV (though I'd like to hook up a PC on occassion).

    Suggestions/advice?
    :lease:
