    Please, please, help me!

I was trying to setup my pals Pio VSX 812 yesterday but could I get the onscreen displays to work? Could I b******s.

Dunno if I was doing something completely stupid but I felt like a right useless plonker!

I connected the Pio's 'video monitor out' to an AV-in on 2 different TVs - followed the instructions in the manual and got nothing on screen whatsoever.

I was using a plain old 'yellow' RCA phono lead, trying all the AV input options on the TVs - even disconnected all other scarts etc.

Can anyone please suggest anything I might be doing wrong?

    Thanks!

Yes. You're looking for something that doesn't exist. The Pioneer 812 doesn't have an onscreen display for setting up.

    That would explain it!
Can't say I noticed the display change - will give it another go.

    Thanks!
