Hello, not sure if this is the right place but here goes

I am Music teacher, and i am looking for a solution to help with a setup

When i was in high school, the music department had a set of keyboards, that were all linked together, giving the teacher the ability to listen to any keyboard he wishes and speak to those pupils

i cannot find a solution to make this setup work in my school, how could this of been achieved, was it through audio, or through some MIDI setup??

any help or ideas would be great,

p.s he had some control system on his desk, which had switches etc

thats all i know
thanks in advance

sounds like a switch. this is possible by duplicating the output of the keyboard(i dont know if they have more than 1 output?) and relaying it through a switch, where the user (you in this case) could simply turn a dial/flick a switch, and you will receive the audio signal into whatever device you choose.

not a hard device to build, and i am sure they make them.
