    Hi

For anyone who owns Kef HTS2001 satellite speaker I need advice please

I wanted to move one of the speakers attached wall mounting so it would operate as a stand. I got the stand off using an Alan key but when I re attached it and tightened the screw the stand still wobbled :(

Unfortunately after trying to tighten it more the head came off the attaching screw:eek:

I am now left with a headless screw jutting out of the speaker. I can't remove it as the slot it goes into is too narrow to insert pliers!

    Anyone got any idea how

    a) I can remove the headless screw without leaving any of it behind?

    b) get a replacement screw so I can re-attach the stand?

Any advice would be gratefully received

    Steve

    Hi

Send an email to Kef and see what they suggest. www.kef.com is their website.

You could try a stud extractor.

Drill a suitably sized hole into screw.
Wind screw extractor into drilled hole in screw anticlockwise, it should then "bite" and unwind the screw.
