I have sky multiroom with one Sky + pace box upstairs (which works absolutely fine), and a normal sky box.

However, this is were the problem lies. I have one of those fairly old Grundig silver boxes and whenver I tune into skysports or any other channels that are pay per view type (i.e. encrypted) I get a "No Satellite Signal Being Received" for about 20 seconds. Sometimes, if I have been watching BBC or ITV for a while, it then takes about ten minutes for it to tune in.

I guess it is the box that is dying???

Thanks for your help in advance.

It could be electrolytic capacitors drying out in the power supply - a known issue on the old Grundig boxes after some usage.
Satcure may do a repair kit - but there could also be other things wrong by now.
You could also try a forced reboot and/or software upgrade to see if either makes any difference.
