Help! Advice on a hi fi (mini disk/cd/cassette/radio)

I am looking for a gift for a friend, and I know he needs a hi fi that allows him to play CD, radio, recordable mini disk and cassette.

Price range circa £250

Any advice welcome - hard to find a good system that still includes cassette!

The next step that'll make a difference is probably the denon dm31 + extras but you're talking about £600

I have the Sony CMT-M333NT, which I've seen around the shops for about £250. It has all the facilities you're asking for and is a nice little system indeed .

I got a Yamaha E400 Pianocraft MD/CD/Reciever/Speakers.
£400 the lot from hyperfi.
Sounds is outstanding once the speakers have run in.
Defo worth the extra over slightly cheaper units and mostly over looked by most people / retailers.
