Hi, I'm building a new PC, but I can't decide which of the above Cards is better. I've previously had Sapphire Radeons so I know that Sapphire is a top ATI Brand, but which ones the best nVIDIA Brand?

Any help would very much be appreciated.

    Thanks

Is it for a HTPC? If so I can recommend the Nvidia 6600GT if used in conjunction with the nvidia dvd codec it gives very good video playback quality using something called 'Pure Video Technology'.

lisaq: Thanks for your reply. I want to buy it for general use. My PC will mainly be used for video editing & encoding, but on the odd ocasion I might like to play a game or two. Any ideas which is a top NVIDIA make?

    Thanks

Gainward are an excellent make but finding their cards in stock is not very easy.

Have a look at www.tomshardware.com and go to the graphics card section for some in depth comparison tests on various cards.

The GT6600 is the faster card in modern games.
