HELP 50 hertzs or 100 hertzs

    Hope any one could advise me, looking to buy 32 inch w/s tv.
    having lots of trouble deciding which hertzs.
    i watch just about all my tv with sky digital is there any need for 100hertzs.some say watching sport makes ball seem fuzzy.
    any advise would be helpful thanks

    It is my understaniding that 100hz tv's use a digital processor to change the from the natural 50hz, in some instances the processor can't keep up with adding the extra hz and leave "artifacts" on the screen (worse on fast moving images> eg football) from the tv's i reviewed instore i would only go for 50hz.

    Thanks kaldon for advise,to many poeple are telling me this.i was looking at sony 32fx68 but looks doubtful now.i will try and find good tv w/s with 50 hertzs with good review.if any one knows of any maybe you could let me know.

    also any thoughts on progressive scan

    panasonic tx32ps1 and phillips 32pw6517c. the good thing as well is the price but search around as they do differ.

    A 100hz tv with an inbetween 75hz mode is perfect for digital

    My friend had a 42" plasma and it did, I am not sure about all the others. Check the tech spec on the manufacturers website.
