Sometimes it's difficult to post a question in quite the right section for people (who know or care) to be able to see. Generally everyone here is extremely helpful, you may have dropped between the cracks.

I was at the Bristol AV show and saw a demo of a Logitech 'universal' one. You plug it into USB and onto the net (via PC obviously) and select your kit, then it pops the correct codes in. This feature would save you entering them all yourself. It impressed me anyway.

    Hope this helps.

£99 at AV show, and seen them for same at dixons. I assume it was same model - there were two that I saw, but you can see from their site what the differences are.

It did look the biz but I was wacthing a logitech demo. The USB-auto setup really appealed to me. I may check whether my kit is listed before I splash out.

Peter De La Mar, you will find the dedicated REMOTES section here.
