I just wanted to say hi from California, USA.

I recently purchased the DV27, then the AV8, and now I will be getting the P7 amp this Saturday. It should be a great combo!

I have a question about the IEC plug on the back of the P7 amp. Is it a 15 or 20 amp IEC? Some pictures on review sites show it to be 20 amp, but the handbook shows it to be 15 amp. This is important to me, as I will be using an upgraded power cord.

    Thanks!

    Hi
Welcome to the forums and hoe you enjoy your new toys :)

I'm pretty certain that the UK model is a 20 amp but I'm not certain if that is the same for 110v. Hopefully ANDY_DUTTON who is Arcam's chief tech guy will be along to confirm.

    Regards
    John

Thanks. Yes I found out it is 20 amp in the USA. I was supposed to pick up my amp today, but UPS did not deliver it as they were supposed to. Oh well, maybe Monday.
