The Eagles was the first dts surround sound music dvd
that I bought about 18 months ago and I was so impressed
by the quality of the sound compared to ordinary cd's that
since then I have purchased lots more dts titles- some
really good, some not so good.
One disc has stood out from all the rest though and that is
Sting's Brand New Day dts 5.1 cd.
That's right, a no picture cd!
It's recorded in a way that means it won't play on a normal
cd player but as long as you have a dts capable amp. and
a dvd player ( any region ) you will experience a surround
mix that will blow your mind!
You don't even have to like Sting to appreciate the quality
of the sound on this disc, it really is that good.
You can only get these dts 5.1 cd's from the States or canada.
www.dvdboxoffice.com has these in stock and it is a site that
I have used a lot over the last 3 years and although shipping
times can be longer than other sites ( about 8 to 20 days ),
shipping is free and I have never had a problem with them.
Look under their music section and click on the link "digital cd".
You will not be dissapointed!
Also try Queen's Greatest hits vol. 1 dvd, crap picture but it's
worth buying for the dts surround mix of Bohemian Rhapsody
alone- Very aggressive!!!
Hope I've been of help.
