Hedgehog

    Looked out my window to see this hedgehog wondering around my garden in the middle of the day.

    Probably the first one ive seen in the daytime that wasnt laying squashed on a road somewhere.

    As soon as it saw/smelt me, it turned and ran to the edge of the garden.. and just sat completely still.. so i took a couple of shoots from the only angle i could, then left it alone, it was obviously a bit scared.

    I changed it to black and white because it didnt stand out well with the fence/brick and those flowers in the foreground are bright pink, and very distracting!

    Its not a great photo i dont think.. but i figured i might aswell put some kindof entry in this month.

    That's a nice image

    Not sure if it's strange, but still a nice image

    my thinking was that is STRANGE so see a hedghog during the day because they are nocturnal.. ok, possibly stretching the theme a bit far lol

    That's a nice image Steve but I agree with you, perhaps you've stretched the theme a bit far. However, it is a really good nature shot.
