No Meridian (though they only did a static display last year), Chord, Wilson Benesch etc. But then, at £4k for a small room and £15k for a big one I am not surprised.....

However, the Audio Research/Wilson demo was fantastic and I really liked several of the demos, e.g. Nordost and Quadraspire.

I stopped going some 15 years ago, when after two successive years I came home with nothing for my troubles. Not even a demo disc or latest tweek. Prior to this I'd usually be able to elicit something to try at home as well - the most successful loan was a London Decca Gold and Miltek Aurora cartridges, loved the London but bought the Miltek and it satisfied my "I really need to know what all the fuss is about these Decca's" syndrome!

Looks like I haven't been missing much over the intervening years.

I understand the Moscow show was good this year!
