    :(

Can anyone please clarify whether Heat Soak will affect all LCD projectors at some stage during it's lifespan . . . ??

Does this mean that at some stage the PQ will be so bad ( because of the heat soak ) that the projector will need replacing or a replacement of the optics ?

I was hoping that i would just need to replace bulbs after the lamplife has reached it's end, but i never imagined that heat from the lamp can permanently damage the projector's lcd panels after long use . . .

Anyone have facts about this ????

    Thanks

    Fjorko,

Is this a repeat of this thread ??? Duplicate threads, when the issue is already under discussion in another thread.

All LCD projectors ?? I don't think anyone can be that definitive....

Have a read of the last pages of this thread, and check out the reference to Paul O Hales post concerning heat damage. This should answer your question.
