I was just browsing the DTS site when i saw that released in Italy is Heat, anyone know if this is infact the one with Robert De Niro and the best gunfight ever staged? That to me would be the absolute D.B's,even if it's all in some foreign language!

Now that does pose a real problem. What to do?Considering that i am a really big fan of this movie,is it worth buying just so i can hear that gunfight in wonderful DTS?EVEN THOUGH I WON'T BE A ABLE TO UNDERSTAND A BLOODY WORD THEY ARE SAYING?

It'll be good, but it won't be THAT good! I'd hold out, Warner Brothers are bound to release a S/E at some point and who knows, maybe it'll have a DTS track?

If I had a pound for everytime I heard someone say that - I'd have enough money to buy one of WBs fantastic Box Sets - the ones with a box with a postcard inside it!

I was thinking the other day about some of the films that need better DVD releases, virtually all of them were Warner Bros films!

    Heat
    The Shinning
    2001
    Blade Runner
    Batman
    Thomas and the Magic Railroad

    There's loads more...

I know what you mean, there are so many feature-free DVDs out there that demand S/E treatment.... Don't forget about Goodfellas (also WB!), Fargo, The Game (although a Criterion version is rumoured for the next couple of months), Pulp Fiction, Grosse Pointe Blank.... I could go on......

I picked this up from SRS in London some time ago but have never got round to watching it. The sound is supposed to be fantastic.. Korean version (original not copy) is 2 disc..
