    Do all similarly sized plasmas generate the same amount of heat? They seem able to heat the room all by themselved....

    I'm concerned about how hot the room will get, especially during summer months.

    I have panasonic screens and they don't generate much heat atall

    It varies a bit, but generally yes, they all get pretty hot. Did you ever see the outtake where Andi Peters kissed one on air - and burned his lips? They have improved a bit since then but they all do quite a good impression of a radiator.

    my 5200 gets bloody hot - very bloody hot

    so much so that last winter I just turned off the radiator in my room - and thats the truth
