I think I read on a US forum that this version of Heat is in the wrong aspect ratio?! Be carful if ordering, I'd check it out first......

Try the forums at DVDFile.com and DVDTalk.com - I'm sure I read it on one of those.....

Please note that Asian DVDs could be very dodgy, even they are legally produced and hence suffer quality problems.
If it costs less than GBP5 I would probably not worry too much, else I would not touch those unless you can see/test them first.

Seen this version a local comp. fair - Wolverhampton UK. Cost £28. It seems to be a 2 disc set with the DTS track on disc 2 in 16:9 format. Anybody bought and tried it.

Dolb Digital 5.1 track is accompanied by the film in proper 2.35:1, but the DTS soundtrack has a 1.85:1 picture. Check out the DVD Times review here.

This is the very copy that we are being warned against, and since most of us here are keen to watch in the correct aspect ratio, it is unlikely that anyone has bought it except by accident.

    Regards,
