Has anyone seen this, i've just read the book and thouroughly enjoyed it, so when i watched the trailer on the net i was a bit suprised to see the whole of the trailer is made up of the first story, but the book is split into 5 different albeit connected stories, could someone confirm either way if it follows the whole book or just the first story?

    :lease:

    Hi,

Its been years since I read the book, and my memory isn't what it used to be....... :D
If its any help though, the film deals only with the Ted Brautigan/Bobby story. Its a bit sentimental, but I enjoyed it; I've certainly seen much worse !

I really liked the book, but was a little concerned when I started reading reviews for the film. Sounds like they monkeyed around with the plot quite a bit.

Personally, I enjoyed the other stories more than the Ted/Bobby one, so I haven't bothered to see the film.

I've seen the film. It is really bad, incredibly slow with a very tired performance from Hopkins
