Headsets

My old socom headset has decided to give up and im after getting a replacement will any usb headset work with the playstation 2 ?
Or do i need to buy a specific Playstation2 headset like the logitech or datel gametalk that came out

I'm gonna be needing a PS2 headset so also interestedd to find out this one. I might go for the Socom3/headset package when it gets released. Haven't played Socom yet but the 3rd one sounds prety damn good, bit like Battlefield 1942

The fact that it's USB should mean that any compatable headset should work. Sadly I can't seem to find a definate answer though.

Zalman do a 5.1 headset ,it delivers 5.1 sound through headphones using siz speakers. I got one (although I haven't tried it yet) It comes witha mike.
