Can anyone recommend a pair of "over the ear" type headphones.?

I would to replace the "in ear" phones I got as standard with my portable CD player with something more comfortable.
    Thanks

A company called 'Grado' do some very nice headphones in the mid price bracket. Oh, and Michael, you might want to score a few more goals for us next time

If you are going neer any noise then sealed headphones are much better, Byerdynamic DT231 are fairly nice and will kill most standard in ear headphones. Thay are quite big though.

If you want a more open sound the Sennheiser 590's are excelent.

Beware though as they are open headphones so others will hear some noise too.
