Little out of touch with the headphone side of things.
Could anyone recommend some headphones for use with my Denon 3805 amp?
    Thanks in advance.

What sort of budget did you have in mind....that would be a great help in allowing people to recommend you something!

Bear in mind there are headphones from under £20 to well into the thousands of pounds, but something in the £50-£150 mark would probably suit you best, and that to get the most out of it in the long term,a headphone amp may be worthwhile.

The SR-80 and 125 are noticeably better for maybe £10 - £20 and £30 - £50 more. Then the Sennheiser HD650 better still then comes the mighty RS1's!!! :) Just thought I'd show you your upgrade path ....

Senn's are definately more comfortable (once adjusted) than the Grado's but there is always a Grado somewhere that will beat the Senn's on sound quality. Senn's top spec HD650 even with stefan audio or russ andrews cord can not touch the RS1's and so on down the scale. Depending on which model goes up against which but having said that I have a lot of time for the Senn's as they really are good headphones. I did do a review of the RS1 vs the HD600 or 650 on www.audioreview.com will have to do one again for here some day.
