At that price I would probably pay another couple of quid and opt for either the Senny HD239 or the Audio Technica ATH-WS55i 'phones. Both very, very capable headphones.

Hi Phil,

Are the HD239's any different to the 238's?

I have a bit of a love hate relationship with my 238s. They are really detailed but the bass and treble is a bit OTT.

What do you think?

Not that much of a difference just that Sennheiser UK no longer have any 238's. ;-)
