    Some of you may have seen in some of my posts that my little girl wasnt to well lately .

    She has leukemia and have been up great ormond st for little under a month getting various treatments and can thankfully say that today she has been discharged from hospital and we are able to take her home .

    So staying at the mother in laws for the last night and will be enjoying a much needed few beers :thumbsup:

    I haven't seen any of your posts but glad things are going well, I know exactly the kind of situation you are in, my son has menkes disease, hopefully all goes well for your daughter.

    GOSH is fantastic, we are regulars and their specialists are some of the best in the world, we are very lucky to have them on our shores.

    Yeah i think myself lucky that i have such a dedicated team to deal with my little girl and im sure you do the same with your son :thumbsup: and to be honest i couldnt have asked from more .

    Wasn't aware your daughter had been ill but it's really nice to read a good news thread. Really happy for you and your family.

    Great news to hear she's getting home :)

    Friend of mine was diagnosed with leukemia a few months back. Going through treatment at the minute.
