    Here's a head scratcher.

I have a sky digi box connected to my denon amp via a rgb- s-video convertor. From my amp to my tv and projector via s-video. all works OK but Sky picture quality on projector could be better.

I was wondering if I got a rgb-Component convertor could I plug this in to the video out scart on the digi box, then to the amp then to the projector?

I need to keep the rgb-s-vid connection so that i can still watch sky on the tv(which can only accept s-vid due to setup).

? Anyone know if this is viable ?

Err i dont see why not, i would have a look and post in the plasma forum as alot seem to be running converters into plasmas from sky. Other thing to do is email JS. Dr J might be around in a while to solve this for you. You need to check the spec of you Digibox as i'm not sire they all offer RGB out on both scarts!
    Hope this helps mate.

Don't think it will work, because the video output of the Sky box doesn't output RGB. Most videos only support composite.

Try your RGB to SVideo in the video output, if it works you are cooking on gas, if not it hasn't cost you anything.

Good idea, I'll try it the rgb-s-vid in the second scart output and see what happens.

From both the video out and the TV out? Cool.

My NTL box doesn't. Although it does support RGB loopthrough - bizarre...
