    Hi
been reading the forums for over a week as i try to narrow down my choice for a new TV, but every time i get close i find another long thread of warnings.

So can anyone help me with my choice?

    1. Plasma or lcd
    2. make
    3. sound system to go for

will be used for Sky+,PS2, dvd
watch a lot of football and other sports
would prefer not to go above 37"

Price is not to important for TV, BUT £300-400 sound system

    hope someone can help

    thanks

Compromise the TV to spend more on sound. It's hard to find anything remotely satisfying at that level, certainly not in keeping with a 37"LCD or plasma

We haven't all got quite enough dosh for that, though I'd try and suggest it to anyone who has! A £3k screen deserves £1000 on sound. For that you'd get a decent speaker pack and an amp worthy of the name I should think.
