    Hi everyone,

I recently bought a HDV camcorder and I want to burn the HD files to DVD rather than BD-R and play them in my PS3. I stress that I want to keep the original 1080 resolution. I realise the space is limited but they are only short videos of my animals.

    1. Do I need a blu-ray writer or can I use a DVD writer?
    2. Which software is best for this?I have a host of software and edit in Premiere Pro.

    Thanks :)
    Mike

    What format are the videos?

If they are small files (less than 4Gb) you can just copy them on to a Fat32 formatted USB flash drive and copy them over/play on the PS3.

Sorry for the delay, I slipped on ice and broke my arm :(

The files are m2t. I want to share them with my family so I really want to burn them to DVD so that they can play them on their PS3 (and mine). I don't really want to go to the expense of a blu-ray writer and bd-r discs just yet if it's not necessary and I can avoid it. Any ideas?
