    Hi
Can you tell by looking at a plasma's resolution what signal of HD it will take?
If a panel has a 1260 x 768 resolution does that mean it will handle 720p by downscaling?
Or has resolution nothing to do with the HD signal?

    Thanks

Obviously, a better definition panel should be better for HDTV, but it's not quite as simple as that. The main thing to look out for is whether the TV will accept HDTV via its inputs. I'm afraid there's still a lot of guesswork involved because Sky hasn't given away too much information yet, and could still change its mind before the launch in 2006.
