    Hi

Don't know anything about these things. Is it possible to get HDTV via component? If the answer is yes, is it likely to be possible to get the copy protected service from SKY in this way?

    Any help really appreciated.

Can anyone advise me on what if any LCDs out are futureproof to use the new Sky Service and are under £1100. Bigger the better.

    Any help really appreciated.

I doubt it. Copy protected content will probably be outputted at low (SD)resolution if there are component outputs available on the STB at all.
