Got a dilema, was looking to buy a Pio XDE or Panny 500 when available, as I wanted a large HDTV now I'm told that LCD's ar HDef, do they have the HDMI interface.

Is it better to get LCD or Plasma.

    Even more confused now

There are now quite a few LCDs that are "HD Ready", Philips PF9986, Sharp GD1E, Tosh and Loewe to name a few with more newer models to be released. However, if you're looking at a screen size of 42+" you may find some of the LCDs at that size a quite a bit more expensive. I've been down this route myself and to be honest I may go for the new Panny 500 or maybe even look at a DLP for this size of screen.
