With the new firmware 3.2 I noticed that when the power was interrupted the 720 lost its guide and all my scehduled programs. I tested this quite a bit with FW 2.6 and it never dropped the guide by simulated lost power (remove AC cord count to 10 and reattach).

Anyone else seen the guide data get lost when AC is removed?

I have the same problem with my Toshiba XS 32, and have resorted to attaching it to an UPS. Even though other Toshiba owners do not have this problem, tech support told me that it is normal. One would think that everything could be stored on the hard drive. I would recommend calling your tech support before going to an UPS.
