Edit: More than 120 clicks and no owner of these models who could answer?
To clarify this would only require changing the setting mentioned (HDR Tonemapping) while using Input #1 as source and confirm if it stays the same after changing to Input #2 as source.
Hello, I have a question for you owners of these TVs...
Panasonic introduced last year an "HDR Tonemapping" option, which should be desired for Gaming where you want the console/game to do the tonemapping instead of the TV (basically turning the TV's Tonemapping Off like HGIG does on LG TVs).
The question is when changing this setting is it being applied system-wide or only in the Input and/or Picture Mode that is currently being used?
Would one need to manually keep changing the setting when moving in-between Games to internal apps/media if I wanted it "Off" for Games and "On" for Movies/Series, for example?
Thanks to anyone who can clarify.
