Toshiba have an HDMI fitted DVDR/HDD combo being released here in the UK in March 05! It will also have a 250GB HDD, digital tuner and EPG. Model code RDXS34.

However Novembers 160GB Toshiba RDXS33 has been cancelled so as not to interfere with this 'top end' model :(

Any sign of twin tuners on this thing (or any other forthcoming HDD/DVD recorder)?

No information yet. The only machines currently with twin (analogue) tuners are the VHS/DVDR combos from Panasonic and JVC. The Panasonic E500 may ship with twin DVB tuners (Panasonic aren't saying yet).
