Is there a way to convert a HDMI to a VGA signal? I'm having problems connecting my computer to my panny plasma through DVI on my computer but it works fine on the front VGA ports. I want to hide the cables and there is no VGA on the back so I wonder if the HDMI port is an option.

DVI from a computer to an HDMI input should be fine if you have an output resolution such as 1280x720 @60Hz, which is the same as an HDTV resolution. Btw, converting an HDMI input to a VGA output would be against licensing rules for the manufacturer of such a device. Hope this helps.
