Is there an adapter that can be used which has an HDMI input to a Scart Output? I would like to buy such a device so that I can attach one of these Xenta type Media Players to a Scart Television. As currently I am having to burn video content to DVD before I can play it on the TV which takes a long time. It would be nice just to be able to plug in a USB stick or SD memory card containing the video content.

How about a media player with a composite output? Not quite as good as Scart but it would do all the conversion for you.

You can sometimes send component RGB and/or S-video to scart (depending on the available outputs options on the player - the PS2 did this for example)
    Would be better than composite.
