Can I run a 7.5 m DVI cable from my projector to a DVD player with a HDMI output and use some sort of adaptor at the DVD player end or do I have to get a HDMI cable and use an adaptor at the projector end?

    Cheers,
    Andy.

Yes I know there's going to be an adaptor but will the adaptor plug into a DVD player with a HDMI output therefore allowing the use of a DVI cable or do you have to use a HDMI cable and put the adaptor on the other end for connecting to e.g. a projector DVI input? Seeing as I'm not going to have a HDMI cable when I get my projector installed and all the cables hidden I'm hoping I can use an adaptor at the DVD player end!

    Cheers,
    Andy.

its all about quality which you dont got.......

Nah just joking. when u go from a 36inch tv to a 50ins plasma it seems a hell lot bigger for a week or two hence the sig.

Must admit i demoed the domino and ht1000 and your right its a different game.

And if i get my planning permission sorted tomorrow im gonna invest in a marantz 12s3 pj (subject to dem as i hear its a DLP wonder.)

any good you reckon kramer. from your posts you seem to know your stuff:
