I am looking for an HDMI switch to allow me to connect a Denon 1920 DVD player and a Virgin V+ box to my single HDMI socketted Philips 37pf9830. I am considering one of the following:

Belkin:

or

Thor:

Not sure if the Thor model will work with the V+ box though because it only supports HDCP v1.2 not 1.2a.

Also came across these offerings from Currys and wondered if they could do the same job. Not sure what the difference is between the 2 models but one is £50 the other £100 - look the same to me.:confused:

If they are up to the task they look like a good option as you don't need to buy an extra HDMI lead.

If anyone has any experience of these devices any advice would be most welcome.

Play.com have a '3 in 1' switch for a lot less money.

Not tried it though!

A forum member recommended this one :

Looks pretty neat however it's not available yet.

Adding it to your basket takes you to another screen where you can find retailers for your particular region, ie. the UK or simply do a Google to find who might be selling it, though I think it will have to be ordered on a pre-order basis.

Seen the one above(xtreme) on Amazon.co.uk for around £50.

Think i will buy that one,when sky hd gets installed.

If it's this one Vivo 3 port switch then I'm looking to get it. It's got some decent specs for £49.99 like HDMI 1.3 and I like the HDMI ATC lab endorsement though at £49.99 it sounds to good to be true.

Product Features

* The only HDMI switch box to be approved by HDMI ATC lab
* Fully supports 1080P HDTV
* HDCP Compliant
* Supports DTS, Dolby 7.1 Channel Audio
* 21 HDMI source input

Anyone heard much about this product?
