Hello

I currently have a HDMI 4in1 out switch, I also have a Ethernet splitter, 5 ports, and a broadlink rm pro which I use my phone to control my light, tv, sky and Xbox.
its a complete mess of cables and boxes and I can’t really keep it like this for too much longer.

is there a hdmi and Ethernet switch/splitter that could tidy my room up a bit? Only thing I can think of is an av receiver but can’t find one with Ethernet. My budget is small too, maybe £50 top end of my budget.

Whilst HDM has the capability to carry a 10/100 network connection it has never been utilised to share a network connection between devices.

Plenty of AVR have a wired or wireless network connection to allow firmware updates and content streaming.

Your HDMI and Ethernet signal paths will always stay separate.

You would have the same number of cables and the market for a combined HDMI + Ethernet switch is pretty much non existent.

Grab some Hoop and Loop and stick the two units together.
