    Hello all,

I am looking for help with my conference room setup, we have a Sharp TV mounted on the wall with a 50' HDMI cable going through conduit to our conference table, when i plug in my laptop to project everything is working great.

My problem comes into play when I try to add a female to female HDMI extender, this one to be exact (Amazon.com: VCE (2 PACK) HDMI Female to Female Adapter Gold Plated High Speed HDMI Female Coupler 3D&4K Resolution: Home Audio & Theater). I plugged it in and everything worked great, I put all the cables back into the leg of the table (so it gets hidden and no mess of cables) and it stops working, even when i undo everything i still get no signal. REason for this is because in the table there is already a male to female extension already in the table and would like to use that.

When i plug in my laptop windows is detecting a 2nd "monitor" is plugged in but the TV just shows a black display.

is the signal being degraded or possibly any interference?

    Hope this makes sense

    Thank you!
