HDMI Problem

I havd a Sony FW56 laptops which has 1080p. I am trying to connect it to a sony 40W4000 Sony Tv when it connects the picture comes up but doesn't take up the full screen.

Have you tried rt clicking the desktop select screen resolution/multiple displays?
