    I have the following setup:

    Panasonic AE500
    Yamakawa 365 DVD Player

I have the 365 outputing 720p through the DVI.

I'm thinking of getting a new player such as the Pioneer 868 but was wondering if I'd get a better picture by buying a cheaper HDMI player and get a scaler as well. Am I going to see much difference in PQ between the 365 and something like a Pioneer 868?
